A save file crashed when load the save file.

When encountering a problem, it generally can be solved by doing the verification of game file integrity.

Please follow the following instructions.

If you can’t solve this problem with Verify Integrity, please remove the game and reinstall.

To preserve, please back up saved files before removing the game.

The save files are in “%LocalAppData%\LF\Saved\SaveGames”.

Disappeared the save file.

There may be a couple of different causes for this problem. Please check the possible reasons below.

▶ Please check whether these folders and their contents exist on your computer. 
“%LocalAppData%
\LF\Saved\SaveGames”

▶ Please check whether you have sufficient storage space on the Steam cloud.

On your Steam client proceed to “Steam Library >> Night of The Dead >> Properties >> GENERAL >> Steam Clouds”.

The problem may be caused by the lack of storage space.

▶ If you have tinkered with beta settings, please make sure whether you are on the correct version for the missing save file.

”Steam Library >> Night of The Dead >> Properties >> BETAS”

▶ The Windows User Account containing characters not recognized by the game. If your Windows username contains non-English letters or special characters, it may have caused it. A possible solution is changing your Windows username to include only English letters.

Size mismatch crash

LowLevelFatalError [File:Unknown] [Line: 3194] Texture2D /Game/_Resources/Add2002/StreetPropsSetA/Textures/T_signage_3d_01_h_N.T_signage_3d_01_h_N: Serial size mismatch: Got 6197, Expected 6193

This case is occur because of different between current version and pervious version. When encountering a problem, it generally can be solved by doing the verification of game file integrity. Please follow the following instructions. https://support.steampowered.com/kb/2037-QEUH-3335/verify-integrity-of-game-cache 

If you can’t solve this problem with Verify Integrity, please remove the game and reinstall.

※ The save files are in “%LocalAppData%\LF\Saved\SaveGames”.

To preserve, back up before delete.

※ Minimum requirements are minimum requirements to run NoTD and may not provide the smoothest gameplay experience.


Recommended requiremnets for NoTD are as follows:

OS: Windows 10 64-bit

Processor: Intel® Core™ i5-9600K / AMD Ryzen™ 5 3600X

Memory: 16 GB RAM

Graphics: NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 1660 TI

Storage: 16 GB available space

Performance Issues After Updating the Game

If performance issues occur after updating the game, please let us know of your system specs such as Operating System, CPU, RAM and GPU in the support ticket. That will enable us to promptly figure out the problem.

▶ Please enter 'dxdiag' and run.

▶ Please check the System Information in ‘DirectX Diagnostic Tool' - System’

▶ Please save file to press ‘Save All Information...’ button.

General Solution for Most Problems

▶ Restart your computer and launch Steam

▶ From a game's library page, select Manage > Properties.

▶ Select the Local files tab and click the Verify integrity of game files... button.

▶ Steam will verify the game's files - this process may take several minutes.
